About us
Lucy Tennyson

After graduating with a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia, I trained as a journalist at City University, London, and worked on local and national newspapers, radio and TV. I then led the Public Relations team at a major national charity.
Since setting up my own consultancy in 1990, I have provided editorial and PR services for a variety of organisations, specialising in the education, charity and local authority sectors. I have since specialised further in the built environment, with a focus on sustainability. I am currently studying for an MSc in Historic Conservation at Oxford Brookes University.
I also have hands-on project management experience, having been co-ordinator of Artweeks for three years. Then, as OOMF! Open City co-ordinator in 2000, I was part of a small team that ran this successful millennium event.
I have excellent knowledge of the higher education, charity and local authority sectors, as well as experience of working on national campaigns for organisations such as the RSPB and Age Concern. I now work largely as a journalist, specialising in writing about urban design, building conservation, transport and planning.
